Giant beans in the oven

INGREDIENTS
  • 400gr. giant beans (washed and trimmed)
  • 2 large onions (chopped)
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 2-3 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 bunch dill, (finely chopped)
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • a pinch of sugar
  • Salt, Pepper, Red Pepper
METHOD
  1. Drench the beans in warm water and a medium tablespoon of salt overnight.
  2. Put them in a pot with enough water and boil until the get soft and if necessary add warm water.
  3. When they boil poured the water and add the onions, dill, the salt, pepper, little olive oil and saute them for 5′-6′.
  4. Remove from the heat and add the tomato and the sugar. Stir and then add the remaining olive oil.
  5. Put them in a medium pan, add 2 cups of hot water and bake them at 180oC until sauce thickens.
