The world’s biggest salad

Saturday, June 19, 2010, in Ierapetra, Crete, citizens and visitors will try to shake down the previous Guinness record of largest salad which has been in Israel with 10,200 tonnes!

For the salad which is estimated to weigh over 14 tonnes will be needed:

• 7 tonnes of tomatoes
• 3 tonnes of cucumbers
• 2 tonnes pepper
• 1 ton onions
• 800 kgr of feta cheese
• 500 kgr of olive oil
