Feta cheese

Feta is traditionally made in Greece, in mountainous areas.

Feta is the most popular and the most ancient cheese, made from goat’s or sheep’s milk, produced in blocks or square cakes. It has small holes and no skin and stored in barrels of brine. It is soft or semi-hard and its flavor is tangy and salty.

Feta is usually used:

as an ingredient on appetizers

as an ingredient on salads

or as accompany to main dishes

It can also be served cooked, grilled or you can marinate it (Feta cheese in oil).
