- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 15gr dry yeast
- olive oil for frying
METHOD
- In a bowl, add the lukewarm water and dissolve the yeast.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well to make a watery dough, without lumps and leave at room temperature to rise.
- In a deep fryer add olive oil to heat up quite well and with the help of a spoon take a some of the dough and add it to the pan.
- Fry them for a while until they get golden brown.
- Put them on kitchen paper to remove the excess oil.
- Serve them warm with honey and some cinnamon (powder) on top.

I love doughnuts and serving them freshly made with honey, I’d say that is double yum!
YUM!!! Those look so delicious, I want to eat them all! I love how you put honey and cinnamon on top of the doughnuts.
I love the simplicity of these doughnuts. It’s something I could make for my family on the weekend. They will love it!
Those look simply too delicious. I can only imagine popping them hot!!
I love those but I never new they were so easy to make. On my to do list!
do you think this will go really well with rum sauce or something like a white chocolate ganache: these are things we like here but not honey much. i would love to use olive oil for frying but believe me i got to pay thru my nose. we use it mainly for seasoning! i guess refined sunflower oil should work equally well?? keep mailing the recipes to me though i may take a while to look up and respond. i’m makin a personal repertoire of desserts. thank you
hello and thank you for the visit and comment!

well, first of all, yes you can use sunflower oil for frying. it’s ok!
and secondly of course you can try to serve them with rum sauce or chocolate. actually some times maybe I use chocolate too to serve them. (it depends on our appetite…
