Patates giahni

INGREDIENTS
  • 5-6 potatoes peeled and cut into chunks
  • 1 chopped onion and
  • 1 large tablespoon tomato puree or 2-3 tomatoes cut into cubes
  • 1.5 cup hot water
  • 50gr red wine
  • 1/3 cup glass olive oil
  • salt, pepper

Potatoes with tomato sauce

METHOD
  1. We put the olive oil in a saucepan and heat it.
  2. We add the onions and stir until fry lightly.
  3. Add the potatoes, stir for a while and add the wine.
  4. Dilute the tomato puree with water (or chopped tomatoes and water) and add to the saucepan, add the salt, pepper and stir.
  5. Cover the pan and let it boil over medium heat for 20′-30 ‘.
  6. Remove the pan lid stir gently and leave it uncovered to boil a little longer until the broth thickens.
